Venezuela
When to GoBeing so varied in topography and altitude, almost any time of year is good for travel in at least some regions. The conventional dry season is from October to April, but rainfall is unpredictable and can occur frequently during the drier season, from June to September, when plant life flourishes and Los Llanos floods. Temperatures are tropically warm to hot in low lying areas, often with high humidity, and cooler in the Andes, sometimes becoming quite cold at night.

I would just like to write and tell you how much we enjoyed our trip to Venezuela...the organisation was superb and we were very well looked after...The itinerary was excellent - we had four very different areas, all so unique and special in their own ways.... [In the Llanos] we even saw a jaguar which is very rare...We cannot recommend Venezuela enough. It is a very special place and for those with a spirit of adventure and who love nature in all its splendour... it should not be missed...Again thank you for organising the trip so well - we shall look forward to going for more adventures with Reef and Rainforest in the future.
