MaheAt 27km long and 8km wide, Mahe is by far the largest of both the Granitic Group and the Seychelles as a whole. Containing most of the country’s population, the charming capital, Victoria, and Morne Seychellois, the islands’ highest mountain at 905m, Mahe also has many unspoilt beaches and coves. Near the international airport lies the Ste Anne Marine National Park offering good snorkelling and diving, and the highlands, coastal flats and mangroves provide challenging hiking and rewarding birdwatching.
