Manuel Antonio National Park

Located in one of the more popular coastal regions, the rainforested national park of Manuel Antonio is nevertheless set apart from the busy beaches and numerous hotels which line the road leading from Quepos, the nearby town. Much wildlife can be seen on walks along the many trails, after which a swim in the inviting Pacific waters is recommended to cool down - easily done since the forest comes right to the beach.
