Marau Peninsula

Sandwiched between Camamu Bay (Brazil’s third largest) and the Atlantic Ocean, this wild and beautiful peninsula offers superb beaches, small patches of Atlantic rainforest and crystal clear rock pools with good snorkelling.  The bay is dotted with small islands, local fishing villages and serene, palm-fringed beaches.

Pousada Lagoa do Cassange

Constructed along environmentally sensitive principles, the pousada offers comfortable detached bungalows complete with private bathrooms and hammocks.  To the front is a wild golden-sand beach and behind is a calm freshwater lagoon offering safe swimming and kayaking.
