Focusing on the game parks of Northern Tanzania, this concise itinerary encompasses some of Africa’s most dramatic landscapes and wildlife experiences, including the volcanic amphitheatre of the Ngorongoro Crater, the serene Lake Manyara and the baobabs and elephants of Tarangire.  A particular highlight is the vast Serengeti National Park; home to diverse resident game throughout the year. However, the park comes especially alive from November to July when wildebeest and other ungulates arrive in huge numbers to breed.  Including all meals and a good number of game drives utilizing shared 4x4 vehicles (max 7 passengers) to get close to the animals, this tour provides you with some of Africa’s best wildlife sightings at a very down to earth price.

 Day 
  1. Depart London.
  2. Arrive Nairobi and continue to Arusha. Drive to Lake Manyara.  O/n  Lake Manyara Serena, FB.
  3. Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, lunch at hotel and enjoy a game drive en route to Serengeti National Park.  O/n Serengeti Sopa Lodge, FB.
  4. Morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park.  O/n Serengeti Sopa Lodge, FB.
  5. Game drive en route to Olduvai Gorge.  Continue to the Ngorongoro Crater in the afternoon. O/n Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, FB.
  6. Morning game drive in Ngorongoro Crater.  Visit a traditional Maasai village in the afternoon.  O/n Ngorongoro Sopa Lodge, FB.
  7. Game drive en route to Tarangire National Park.  Lunch at hotel followed by  a game drive in National Park.  O/n Tarangire Sopa Lodge, FB.
  8. Return to Arusha. Catch flight out.
  9. Arrive London.

Meet and greet, transfers, domestic flights, accommodation, most breakfasts and a number of lunches and dinners (as stated), complimentary on-site activities (eg, use of swimming pool, snorkel gear, canoes, nature trails), inclusive tours which are part of a lodge’s general package (eg, game drives in the Pantanal), and a variable number of chargeable tours and excursions which are either too hard or unreliable to organise on the spot, or which we consider essential to enjoy fully the destination.

What is Not Included in the Price?
International flights (we shall be delighted, of course, to quote for flights if you like), optional tours and excursions (if there are any you wish to include, just let us know), and some breakfasts, lunches and dinners (normally where there are alternative dining options).
