Incorporating some of the most fabulous wildlife areas in Tanzania, this comprehensive itinerary stays well off the beaten track using small tented camps and, for the northern section, a private naturalist guide with 4x4 vehicle.  September and October aside, you will be well placed the rest of the year for the legendary wildebeest migration.  Experience a Tanzania tented camps safari in the style of a bygone era.

 Day 
  1. Depart London.
  2. Arrive Nairobi and continue to Arusha.  Met by private guide with private 4x4 vehicle.  Drive to Lake Manyara.  O/n Kirurumu Tented Lodge, BB.
  3. Game drive in Lake Manyara National Park. Continue to Serengeti.  O/n Mbuzi Mawe, FB.
  4. Day for game drives. O/n Mbuzi Mawe, FB.
  5. Day for game drives. O/n Mbuzi Mawe, FB.
  6. Game drive en route to Ngorongoro Conservation Area.  O/n Ngorongoro Serena Lodge, FB.
  7. Game drive in Ngorongoro Crater. Continue to Tarangire.  O/n Tarangire River Camp, FB.
  8. Game drives in Tarangire National Park.  O/n Tarangire River Camp, FB.
  9. Drive back to Arusha. Fly south to Selous.  O/n Selous Riverside Camp, FB.
  10. Day for game drives, walking safaris and/or boat safaris. O/n Selous Riverside Camp, FB.
  11. Fly to Ruaha National Park.  O/n Mwagusi Safari Camp, FB.
  12. Day for game drives and/or walking safaris (ranger fee payable).  O/n Mwagusi Safari Camp, FB.
