Mahe

At 27km long and 8km wide, Mahe is by far the largest of both the Granitic Group and the Seychelles as a whole. Containing most of the country’s population, the charming capital, Victoria, and Morne Seychellois, the islands’ highest mountain at 905m, Mahe also has many unspoilt beaches and coves. Near the international airport lies the Ste Anne Marine National Park offering good snorkelling and diving, and the highlands, coastal flats and mangroves provide challenging hiking and rewarding birdwatching.

Northolme Resort
Follow in Ian Fleming’s footsteps and enjoy the special treatment received at this historic hotel. Although the beaches are small and rocky, there are spacious well-appointed villas, a beautiful pool and spa, and a shuttle to take you to other Mahe locations on request. Suitable for couples rather than families.

Cerf Island Resort
Located 10 minutes offshore from Victoria in the St Anne Marine Park, the resort offers well-appointed villas, most with wonderful views of the ocean and island landscape. Snorkel, dive, kayak, relax in the spa, join a sunset cruise or enjoy a private beach barbecue: the resort conveys a private-island impression but with easy access to Mahe and onwards.
