Galapagos in Comfort

We have designed this extra-special itinerary for those wishing to tour the Ecuadorean Andes in style and visit the Galapagos in comfort, staying on land rather than aboard a boat. The stylish, distinctive colonial haciendas we have chosen are redolent of Ecuador’s rich Inca and Spanish colonial past, and our pleasant Galapagos hotel offers the highest degree of comfort to be found on the islands while providing daily excursions by boat. No seasickness, but plenty of island enjoyment is assured.

 Day 
  1. Depart London.  Fly via Madrid to Quito.  Tfr to hotel.  O/n Mansion del Angel, BB.
  2. Tfr to Otavalo for guided tour of market and surrounding craft towns.  Tfr to hotel.  O/n Hacienda Zuleta, FB.
  3. Free day to walk or ride horses through wonderful mountain scenery. O/n Hacienda Zuleta, FB.
  4. Tfr via Quito and the Avenue of Volcanoes to Cotopaxi area.  O/n Hacienda San Augustin de Callo, FB.
  5. Private tour of Cotopaxi volcano and national park.  O/n Hacienda San Augustin de Callo, FB.
  6. Free morning.  Return to Quito in afternoon. O/n Mansion del Angel, BB.
  7. Fly to Galapagos Islands and transfer to Santa Cruz for SEVEN night stay at the Finch Bay Hotel including all meals.
  8. O/n Finch Bay Hotel, FB.  Excursions during your stay include four full-day boat trips, guided visits to Charles Darwin Research Station and highlands, hiking, kayaks and mountain bikes.
  9. O/n Finch Bay Hotel, FB.
