ROYAL PALM HOTEL

The Royal Palm Hotel is a secluded luxury hotel in the lush highlands of Santa Cruz Island. Part of the Leading Hotels of the World hotel group, the Royal Palm has 10 villas, 8 veranda studios and 3 suites. Room facilities include an indoor or outdoor Jacuzzi, satellite TV, internet access, DVD, CD player and minibar. The hotel amenities include a restaurant and bar, business centre and health club. A range of activities are offered including hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, kayaking, scuba diving and excursions to visitor sites both on Santa Cruz Island and to some of the nearby islands.

The 21 room Finch Bay Hotel is the most comfortable hotel in Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island. It is located in front of a mangrove-lined beach across the bay from Puerto Ayora in a peaceful, car-free location. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, lounge, outdoor Jacuzzi and swimming pool. The hotel organises walks to nearby visitor sites and excellent boat trips to neighbouring islands. Four and seven night scuba diving packages can also be arranged. RED MANGROVE AVENTURA LODGE

This newly refurbished hotel faces Academy Bay on the edge of Puerto Ayora, Santa Cruz Island, in the direction of the Charles Darwin Research Centre. The 14 rooms are divided into suites, superior, and standard rooms, with the suites and superior rooms enjoying ocean views. Facilities include a bar and Japanese restaurant. Tours can be arranged to nearby islands, as well as snorkelling, horseback riding, mountain biking and scuba diving.
 ANGERMEYER WATERFRONT INN

The Angermeyer Waterfront Inn is a comfortable guest house located on a peninsula in Academy Bay, Santa Cruz Island. It is just a short water taxi ride to the town of Puerto Ayora. The 9 simply furnished rooms are divided between the main house and a separate 3-roomed ‘casita’. Nearby is the Angermeyer Point restaurant which is known not only for it’s excellent food, but also for the colony of marine iguanas which inhabit the grounds.

GALAPAGOS SAFARI CAMP

The Galapagos Safari Camp is a luxury tented camp following the African safari model. It is situated on a ridge in the highlands of Santa Cruz overlooking the National Park, with magnificent views over the Pacific Ocean and some of the western and northern islands. There are 9 walk-in tents with electricity, running water and a balcony with hammock, table and safari chairs. Meals are taken in the central lodge where there is a dining room and a lounge with fireplace and honesty bar. There is also an outside deck and infinity pool with sweeping views across Santa Cruz Island to the ocean. Walking, horse trekking, island day tours and diving can be arranged.
 HOTEL ALBEMARLE

This clean, comfortable and simply furnished 8-room hotel is located just feet from the beach in Puerto Villamil on Isabela Island. All rooms have sea views and are equipped with a/c and cable TV. Facilities include a sun terrace, restaurant and bar, and sun beds and hammocks are available for guest use. Various tours can be arranged including hikes to the Sierra Negra volcano, boat trips, horse riding, cycling and a visit to the Giant Tortoise breeding centre.
