SEPIK RIVER CRUISE
Description: Enjoy a voyage of discovery to the mystical Sepik region of Papua New Guinea, a vast area that includes the Sepik River, its many tributaries and lakes. A three night cruise on the Sepik Spirit enables exploration of the Middle and Upper Sepik areas, including Blackwater lakes and Chambri lakes. Excursions to small villages are made possible with the use of a small river boat. The people of the Sepik are famous for their carvings and each village boasts a unique style. During the cruise meet the local people and experience a traditional culture, in an area rarely visited by outsiders.

Itinerary (sample):
Day 1:	Catch the charter flight to Timbunke airstrip and board the Sepik Spirit. (D)

Day 2 & 3:	Two full days are spent exploring the many waterways of the Sepik and its tributaries, including visits to traditional Sepik villages. (FB)

Day 4:	Return to the airstrip for the onward charter flight, or travel by riverboat to a lodge. (B)
