Pantanal, Iguacu and the Valdes Peninsula - Wildlife of Brazil and Argentina

Tailor Made Sample Itinerary No.10

Brazil and Argentina wildlife tour

For the wildlife enthusiast wishing to combine the best of Brazil and Argentina, this itinerary has it all. Enjoy expertly guided outings in Brazil's fabulous Pantanal seasonal wetlands to spot jaguar, giant otter, ocelot and tapir staying at two very different lodge locations - one in the interior, one by a large river.

Then marvel at the world's most impressive cascades at Iguacu Falls, the setting for Jeremy Iron's film, The Mission. Iguacu is a stunning series of many waterfalls, including the Devil's Throat cataract, and the rainforest is inhabited by many different species, including coati and macaw. Both the Brazillian and Argentinean falls will be visited.

After visiting the Argentinean falls head down to legendary Patagonia for sealion, Magellanic penguin, elephant seal and the endangered southern right whale (sadly so called as it floated when dead and thus was the right whale to target), not to mention Darwin's rhea, fox, Patagoinian hare, armadillo and the graceful guanaco.

Finally in Beunos Aires take in a tango show to capture the essence of that fair city (known as the Paris of the South) before flying home filled with fond memories of the multitude of fantastic sights and experiences you have had.
